Burn, Verizon Wireless clinic rescheduled

DALLAS - The Dallas Burn and Verizon Wireless have teamed up to present the "Skills 'N Drills Soccer Clinic" on Monday, October 11 from 3pm - 5pm p.m. at Buckner Field in Dallas.

Verizon Wireless "Skills 'N Drills Soccer Clinic" will consist of four key Burn players - Oscar Pareja, Milton Reyes, Scott Garlick and Bobby Rhine - conducting a soccer skills clinic for the students of Mi Escuelita Preschools that will include dribbling, shooting, passing and goalkeeper drills. "We are thrilled with our on-going partnership with Mi Escuelita Preschools and with providing the kids a free soccer clinic for the 5th consecutive year" mentioned Dallas Burn President & General Manager Greg Elliott.
"Skills N' Drills is an opportunity for the students of Mi Escuelita to get one-on-one coaching from Dallas Burn players and meet their heroes in person," said Dawn Sprayman of Verizon Wireless. "This is just another example of the tremendous work by Mi Escuelita to provide children of all cultures a well-rounded educational experience. Verizon Wireless is excited to partner with the Dallas Burn for such a worthwhile program."
Mi Escuelita Preschools is a non-profit organization whose goal is to provide a safe, secure environment where non-English speaking children of all cultures are exposed to English pre-reading skills, literacy, math, science and social skills necessary to have a successful school experience while retaining their rich cultural heritage. The program has seven sites throughout the DFW Metroplex.
