Bob Polding Band to perform Saturday

On Saturday, The Bob Polding Band will perform their newest hit "Forever Free" at Giants Stadium during halftime of the MetroStars game against the New England Revolution.

The band's newest hit is a song written for the men and women who have given their lives for our freedom and the families they've left behind and is now being broadcast to the U.S. troops overseas via Military radio. The band is attracting a whole new fan base with their new hit, including wives, mothers, fathers and friends of the fallen soldiers.

The Bob Polding Band has created its own unique blend of acoustic and straight ahead rock & roll. With a soulful sound and meaningful lyrics, the band has never strayed far from its roots. The Bob Polding Band credits each member for bringing a part of themselves into every song. The band has a strong emphasis on capturing a "live sound" with their music. They are also careful not to over produce their recordings.

With Bob Polding, Steve Klein and Mike Delikat as the core, and with the addition of newcomers John Forsdahl and Joe Orlando, the unit just seems to click.

The band kicked off their summer tour on May 12 at the Blue Star Salute Benefit Concert in North Arlington, N.J., and will continue through the end of July. Their summer tour covers various locations throughout New Jersey, Pennsylvania and New Hampshire.
