Annual Keith Evans Memorial Match set for Tuesday, May 18

Columbus Crew president and general manager Jim Smith announced Thursday that The Crew will take on the A-League's Pittsburgh Riverhounds in the Annual Keith Evans Memorial Match on Tuesday, May 18, at 7 p.m. at The Crew's training facility in Obetz.

The Keith Evans Memorial Match is played in memory of the former Columbus police officer killed in the line of duty. The Crew will take on the Riverhounds at 7:00 p.m. and a silent auction of soccer memorabilia will also be held. All proceeds from donations taken at the gate ($2 per person is requested) will go toward the Keith Evans Memorial Fund.

"The Keith Evans Memorial match is a very special event for The Crew," said Smith. "It is a fitting way to honor Keith Evans, his family and the city of Obetz."
