MLS Highlights

2009: Signed with the Galaxy in March as an undrafted free agent out of South Florida. He made his debut in the squad for the season opening draw with D.C. United on 3/22 before making his first team debut in the U.S. Open Cup Play-In Game defeat to Colorado. He played the full 120 minutes of that game, playing alongside Gregg Berhalter and collecting a second half yellow card. He went on the Disabled List in late March after suffering a sprained right MCL and returned to training a month later. He went on loan to the Austin Aztex of the USL-1 in late June and returned to Los Angeles in mid-July. Marshall was on the bench for the final five games of the season for the Galaxy but did not appear in any.

USL Highlights

2009: Made three appearances for the Austin Aztex of the USL First Division. He made his debut for the club on 6/27, in a 2-2 draw with Cleveland, playing the full 90 minutes. He played 80 minutes in a 2-0 loss to Houston in the Third Round of the U.S. Open Cup on 7/2 and then played the full 90 minutes in a 2-1 loss to Portland on 7/11 before returning to Los Angeles the following week.

College Highlights

Played four years of college soccer at South Florida, helping the Bulls win the first BIG EAST Championship in school history as a senior in 2008. He was named as an NSCAA Second Team All-American, NSCAA First Team All-Regions, College Soccer News First Team All-America, First Team All-BIG EAST performer that season and was the BIG East Tournament Most Outstanding Defensive Player. Marshall finished his career at USF with seven goals and three assists in 73 games, all of which he started. He was a three-year captain of the Bulls and helped the team reach the NCAA Tournament three times. A two-time All-BIG EAST performer, Marshall was a part of the first-ever USF team to reach the BIG EAST Final in 2005, before captaining his team to the conference title three year later.

National Team

Marshall has represented Trinidad & Tobago at the U-17, U-20 and U-21 level, playing for his country in a number of qualifiers
for the 2008 Beijing Olympics.
