What Scouts Say: "Highly rated player as freshman, but had an ACL injury that limited his career ... Good size, goal-poacher and pretty good with his head... Big body with a nose for goal… Gets into dangerous spots and takes chances well… Does his athleticism in college translate to pros? ... It's thinking, playing combinations and the technique that will determine how well Will continues to develop ... He entered UVa big and raw and has worked on the technical piece of his game and playing combinations ... Very [Will] Bruin-esque ... Big, strong, can run by you, can take a hit from behind ... Could get better at quick 1-2s and dummy peel-outs ... Has striaight line running ... He can run behind and check back for the ball and hold it up ... He needs clever stuff to his game and then he can be really good ... Not as dangerous after ACL surgery."
