Fernando Torres is one of the most prolific Spanish strikers ever. He scored three goals at the 2006 World Cup and won the 2010 version of the tournament with the Spain squad. At the club level he has played for Atletico Madrid, Liverpool, and his current club Chelsea.

Torres has registered over 100 caps with La Roja and scored more than 35 goals in those games. He has been a regular with the squad since making his debut in 2003.
Torres scored 75 goals in his last four seasons with Atleti before moving on to Liverpool. Once there he scored 65 goals in 102 Premier League games and was named to PFA Team of the Year twice. He has struggled with consistency since arriving in London, scoring just 20 goals in three and a half seasons.
