A Leawood, Kan. native, Sinovic grew up playing club soccer with Matt Besler. After only being a college walk-on, Sinovic was drafted by the New England Revolution in 2010. He scored his first professional goal in the 2012 MLS Cup Playoffs and registered the second of his career in the 2013 postseason as Sporting KC won MLS Cup. Sinovic only made ten starts in 2015 after battling a concussion for three months, and Peter Vermes will be looking forward to a full season of productivity from a player who has started 152 games for Sporting, and was named the Club Defender of the Year in 2014. 

INTERNATIONAL: Called into the 2014 USMNT January camp and trained for three weeks with the squad including a two-week stint in Brazil.

COLLEGE: Sinovic walked on at Creighton University, recording eight goals and 15 assists in 77 appearances while leading the Bluejays defense to 37 shutouts in his four seasons while playing primarily at left back. A team captain in 2008 and 2009, Sinovic was a two-time First-Team All-Missouri Valley Conference and NSCAA All-Midwest Region honoree.
