Technically gifted central midfielder who the Philadelphia Union will be very familiar with.
What Scouts Say: "Two-way midfielder. Has that in-between role to sit and then get into the attack late ... Awesome engine, good on the ball ... He's not small but plays bigger than 5-foot-9 ... Has some soccer in him. The ball comes into him and he looks like a soccer player ... Good service in the box. Has some qualities that will be brought out by the Player Combine with better players around him ... Technical player, who if you saw him once he wouldn't jump out but if you see him over the course of weeks and months you see he's just as talented ... He's not an off-the-charts athlete. Athleticism is the question mark. He can't jump as high or run as fast ... He's actually faster on the ball than without the ball ... He's crafty at beating guys off the dribble, beating guys in short bursts those first 5-10 yards with the ball ... First couple of steps on the ball are strong ... He can play out wide if he had to and he would be good at tucking in. He can do the work on the flank and come inside and he's smart enough to know when to be wide ... Some team may see him as a right back back because he's good on the ball and defensively responsible ... He doesn't have any specific strengths ... He's smart enough to know who to get the ball to and where to get it ... He's not worried about scoring goals or pizzazz. People are going to love playing with him."
