• Drafted by Colorado in the second round (23rd overall) of the 2010 MLS SuperDraft
• Skillful midfielder, who can play centrally or wide, who creates problems for opposing teams’ defenses with his quick moves and natural ability.
• Served as a senior captain on the University of Virginia’s 2009 NCAA Men’s Soccer Championship team.

MLS CAREER

2011

• Played in 16 matches and started four for a total of 313 minutes played.
• Made his first international appearance in CONCACAF Champions League, and played and started four matches in the tournament. Contributed one assist against Real España (8/23).
• Started nine matches (nine games played) for the Rapids Reserves. Scored a goal and notched one assist.
• Playoffs: Played in two matches, starting one.

2010

• Appeared in five games, one as a starter, playing 76 minutes his rookie season.
• Earned first career MLS start in his hometown at Chicago (6/9) and played 45 minutes.
• Started and played 90 minutes in two U.S. Open Cup qualifiers at KC (4/13) and at NY (5/26).
• Made his MLS debut in the season opener at Chivas USA (3/26).

NATIONAL TEAM

2007

• Participated in the U20 National Team training camp in 2007 and played in victories against SMU (3/25) and Haiti (3/27).
• Was also a pool player for the U19 National Team. 

COLLEGE

• Finished his collegiate career at Virginia with 10 goals and nine assists appearing in 72 games.
• Senior captain of UVA squad that captured the 2009 NCAA National Championship 

PERSONAL

• Graduated with a degree in sociology from the University of Virginia.
• Son of Rodney and Carleen LaBauex and has three brothers: Rodney, Ryan, Royce.
• Played his club soccer with the Chicago Magic SC for eight years and won several National Titles in different sanctioned tourneys.
• Played with the Chicago Fire Premier Super-20s.
• Lettered three years as a midfielder at Mt. Carmel High School. Named a 2006 NSCAA All-American. Earned first team all-state honors as a senior while contributing 22 goals and a school record-tying 26 assists for the Caravan.
• Was a teammate of fellow Rapids 2010 SuperDraft pick Andre Akpan on the National Champion U19 Dallas Texans Red 88.
