ALGERIAN NATIONAL TEAM

Omitted from the squad during the 2010 World Cup qualifiers, M’Bolhi was selected by Rabah Saadane in the final 23-man squad. He became the revelation for the Desert Foxes after taking over for starting goalkeeper Fawzi Chaouchi after only one game.

The undisputed No. 1, M'Bolhi was replaced by Zemmamouche during the second leg of a crucial playoff game against Burkina Faso.

Before launching his international career with Algeria, he was also part of France's U-17 and U-18 national teams.

CLUB CAREER

Coming up through the ranks of Olympique Marseille, M’Bolhi never really panned out in France. He joined Scottish club, Hearts, but made his name in Bulgaria where he has played since 2010.
