2009:MLS: Appeared in 20 games, 19 as a starter logging 1,652 minutes…scored his first and game-winning MLS goal on 09/12/09 vs. Colorado at home in 3-2 victory, and was named Man of the Match…scored in team’s final home game of the season on 10/10/09 against San Jose in 1-1 final, and received consecutive Man of the Match honours…Attakora also recorded 4 assists, two of those were game winners…International: Played 89 minutes in two international friendlies held in February and March against Jamaica and the U.S. respectively…was a member of the U-20 CONCACAF Championships and played in both matches for Canada, a 1-0 loss to Trinidad and Tobago and a 2-0 win over Mexico – both games in Macoya, T & T…Attakora left the game versus Mexico in the 52nd due to injury…called into first MNT camp in January of 2010.
2008:MLS: Appeared in 5 games, 3 as a starter logging 318 minutes…made his MLS first team debut on 08/09/08 @ Colorado…also started on 08/17/08 @ New York, and 10/11/08 @ Dallas…played in 10 TFC Reserve team games, 8 as a starter….scored 2 goals and added 1 assist.
2007: MLS: Played in 5 Reserve League games, all as a starter, logging 437 minutes…suffered from a groin injury for the last part of the season keeping him out of action for almost 6 weeks at the end of the season.
International: Has represented Canada at almost every level starting with the Canadian U-15…was a member of the 2005 U-17 Qualification tournament in Mexico (Canada finished 3rd in the group)…was on the FIFA U-20 World Cup team that played at BMO Field in the summer of 2007…was involved in 3 international friendlies in 2008…called up to U-20 training camp at the start of 2009.
