Nabil Ghilas

CURRENT CLUB: Porto (Portugal)

Nabil Ghilas is a young promising striker with pace and good finishing skills. He is considered as depth for Algeria’s attack and will need to fight to earn a spot in the World Cup squad.

Algerian National Team

His first call-up with Algeria came in March 2013 but his first official cap came in June 2013 against Benin when he scored a goal in a 3-1 win.

CLUB CAREER

Mostly an amateur player in France, he was spotted by Portuguese club Moreirense in 2010. In 2013, he was transferred to Porto for a fee rumoured to be around €3 million.

He has struggled to get regular playing time in a club that has plenty of depth.
