2011: Joined Sporting Kansas City in pre-season as a guest trialist prior to signing in March. Debuted in season opener on March 19th in 3-2 victory over Chivas USA. Recorded two assists in 3-3 draw at Vancouver Whitecaps FC on April 2nd. Scored in the second half during a 3-0 victory over the Chicago Fire PDL in the 3rd round of the Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup.

2008-2010
: He remained in the Serbian SuperLiga but began the first of three seasons as a key contributor at FK Borac Čačak by playing in 28 games and appearing in the UEFA Cup against Dutch giants Ajax Amsterdam, after starting in the team’s four qualifying matches against FC Dacia Chisinau and Lokomotiv Sofia in qualifying. He went on to make 58 appearances for the club, scoring two goals

2007: Stojčev made a move to FK Vojvodina, where he made eight appearances as the club reached the domestic cup final. He debuted in the UEFA Cup in the club’s 5-1 win in the opening round of qualifying against Hibernians, before being eliminated by Atletico Madrid in the second round of qualifying.

2006: Made his professional debut for FK Bežanija of the Serbian SuperLiga at age 19 and was one of several young players to help lead the team to a fourth place finish and qualification for the 2007-08 UEFA Cup.

Stojcev launched his youth career in the academy of former European champions Red Star Belgrade, one of the most popular and successful clubs in Serbia.
