Lopez comes to NYCFC after spending the first three years of his pro career playing in Kansas City. He will be looking to break the 500 minute barrier for the first time in MLS, and hoping to learn from some high quality midfield mentors in the 2016 season.

INTERNATIONAL: Has played for the US U-18 and U-20 National Teams.

COLLEGE: Spent two seasons at North Carolina. In 2011 he was voted the ACC Freshman of the Year after appearing in 25 matches (21 starts) and scoring three goals four assists.
