Acquired by Los Angeles: From the New York Red Bulls in exchange for a second round pick in the 2010 MLS SuperDraft on January 14, 2009.
A versatile and talented forward, Mike Magee is in his third season with the Galaxy. Capable of playing up front and in the midfield, Magee will look to earn a starting role up front alongside Juan Pablo Angel for the club in 2011. He had five goals while playing alongside Angel in 2008 and will look to produce similar numbers this season. Best with the ball at his feet, Magee will look to reestablish his spot in the team after missing 10 games through injury last season and scoring just once.
