Azira is a holding midfielder who has professional experience on the MLS and USL levels. Tasked with shielding the defense, the midfielder's work is often overlooked but important in freeing up teammates on the attack.

INTERNATIONAL: Has been a Ugandan youth international and was called up to the Uganda senior national team in 2014.

OUTSIDE MLS: Played for USL side Charleston Battery from 2012-13, winning the 2012 USL PRO championship and scoring the winning goal in the final against Wilmington. Azira also played in four games for Seattle Sounders 2 in USL in 2015. He won the 2014 US Open Cup with the Sounders, playing in four games in that tournament, and also played in the 2015-16 CONCACAF Champions League group stage with Seattle.

COLLEGE: Played collegiately at University of Mobile and Lindsey Wilson College, winning an NAIA national championship with the latter in 2009 and earning NAIA All-America honorable mention his senior season at Mobile.

NOTES: Has worked as a youth soccer coach in Charleston and Alabama, helping to lead UMS-Wright Preparatory School to the Alabama state title in 2011.
