Carlos Salcido is one of the most experienced players in Mexico's player pool, having registered over 115 caps. He is a versatile player capable of playing left back, centerback, or defensive midfielder.
MEXICAN NATIONAL TEAM
Salcido has been on the field for every minute of Mexico's last two World Cup appearances. He was also part of the squad that won 2012 Gold medal at the London Olympics.
Starting at Chivas de Guadalajara, Salcido was acquired by the legendary Dutch club PSV Eindhoven in 2006. There he appeared in over 100 matches and won two Eredivisie titles. After one season with Fulham in the English Premier League he returned to Liga MX with Tigres. He rejoined Chivas on May 20th, 2014.
