A product of the Chivas USA Youth Academy, where he worked under the tutelage of current TFC head coach Greg Vanney, Glendora, Calif. native Marco Antonio “Marky” Delgado signed a Homegrown contract with the Goats in April 2012 at age 16. He went on to make his pro debut at 17 vs. Vancouver on Oct. 3 of that year and made his first pro start on June 29, 2013 against the New England Revolution. Delgado became a vital part of the Rojiblancos by displaying his versatility, as he started on the back line and also logged minutes at his natural midfield position. Moved north to Toronto after Chivas USA suspended operations following the 2014 season.

INTERNATIONAL: Delgado has represented the US as a member of several youth national teams. In 2013, he saw action with the US U-17s before being promoted to the U-20 squad in late 2013, where he produced several impressive performances in the United States' run to the quarterfinals of the 2015 U-20 World Cup, starting all five of the team's matches in New Zealand. Also spent time with the U-15 national team as an underage player (13) and was a member of the U-17 Bradenton Residency Program during the fall 2010 and spring 2011 semesters.
