A speedy, hard-working forward, Rodgers comes to the Red Bulls off of an extensive career in English football. Rodgers can be a handful for defenders, and his bullish style makes him a good fit for Major League Soccer. A veteran of five English clubs, Rodgers played for current Red Bulls Head Coach Hans Backe at Notts County, for whom Rodgers helped gain promotion in the 2009-2010 season.

2009-2010: Scored 13 goals in 42 appearances in his first season at Notts County, helping the club to the League Two championship and promotion to League One. Notched a hat trick on Sept. 29 in a 3-0 victory over Lincoln City.

2008-2009: Appeared in 22 matches for League One side Yeovil Town after being loaned in January from Port Vale of League Two, scoring three goals. Prior to the switch, had four goals in 15 appearances for Port Vale.

2007-2008: Scored 11 goals in all competitions for Port Vale, including nine in league play.

2006-2007: Started the season with League One side Crewe Alexandra before being transferred to Port Vale in January. At Crewe Alexandra, scored three goals in 13 matches. After the move, had two goals and three assists in six matches for Port Vale.

2005-2006: Had six goals and four assists in 26 matches in his first season for Crewe Alexandra in the English Championship, after moving from League Two side Shrewsbury Town.

2004-2005: Had eight goals in 39 games in all competitions for Shrewsbury Town of League Two.

2003-2004: Helped Shrewsbury Town win Promotion to League Two, scoring 15 goals in 38 appearances, as the club won the Conference National Playoff.

2002-2003: Scored 20 goals in 47 games in all competitions for Shrewsbury Town of the Football League Third Division.

2001-2002: Scored 22 goals in 38 games for Shrewsbury Town while playing in the fourth division.

2000-2001: Played in 26 games in all competitions, scoring 7 goals.

1999-2000: Began professional career with Shrewsbury Town of the fourth division, scoring a goal in six appearances.
