Juan Carlos Valenzuela is a veteran centerback who currently plays for Club América in Liga MX.

MEXICAN NATIONAL TEAM

Valenzuela made his debut with El Tri in 2008 and has appeared sparingly since. He was a key figure for Mexico's 2013 Gold Cup squad.

CLUB CAREER

After four years with Atlas, Valenzuela ended up with his current side in 2009. In 2013 he was part of the squad that won the 2013 Clausura tournament with current El Tri manager Miguel Herrera.
