Left central defender with good size who left Clemson after his freshman year, eventually completing his eligibility at Mercer College.

 

2011: Established himself as one of the premier center backs in the country with his open-field tackling and ability on the offensive end … Appeared and started in 18 games … Was recognized by the league’s other head coaches by being named to the Preseason All-Atlantic Sun Team and certainly didn’t disappoint, tallying 10 points on three goals and four assists … Registered nine shots on the season, including six on goal … Had a monster game in Mercer’s 2-0 win over Appalachia State (Sept. 4), scoring the game-winning goal on a penalty kick and assisting on the second goal in the triumph … Picked up his offensive output in A-Sun Conference play, scoring goals in back-to-back games against Jacksonville (Oct. 2) and FGCU (Oct. 7) … Assisted on the game-winning goal in Mercer’s 2-1 A-Sun Tournament first round win over Lipscomb (Nov. 9) … Rewarded for his strong junior season by being voted onto the A-Sun All-Conference first team

 

2010: Was a dominant force on the back line for the Bears while proving to be a valuable option in the box on set pieces … One of only two players to appear and start in all 17 games for Mercer in 2010 … Finished with five points on two goals and one assist … Had a monster game against in-state rival Georgia State (Sept. 19), scoring a pair of goals to lead Mercer to a 2-1 win … Was named to the College Soccer News National Team of the Week for his efforts in the Georgia State victory … Assisted on an insurance goal in the Bears 2-0 win over Lipscomb (Oct. 28) … Capped his first season in the Orange and Black by being voted onto the Atlantic Sun All-Conference second team.

 

Before Mercer: Appeared in 15 games, making 12 starts as a true freshman for ACC member Clemson … physical center back who contributed on the offensive end with two assists … Part of a Clemson defensive unit that allowed just 26 goals … recorded an assist in the Tigers 6-0 win over North Greenville (Oct. 28) … picked up his other assist in the Tigers 3-1 win against Longwood (Nov. 3) … earned starts in both of Clemson’s ACC Tournament games against Virginia Tech (Nov. 10) and Wake Forest (Nov. 11).
