ENGLISH NATIONAL TEAM

Hart was a part of England's 2010 World Cup squad but did not see any action. He took over the starting role immediately after the tournament and started in all four of England's games in the 2012 European Championship.

CLUB CAREER

After starting his career with Shrewsbury Town, his hometown club, Hart was signed by Manchester City as a 19 year old in 2006. He became the team's starter prior to the 2007-08 season and has appeared in over 20 games for the club in every season but one (2009-10). He was the starter in every game for City's 2011-12 title winning season.
