Jefferson is a goalkeeper who has made over 200 appearances for Botafogo since joining the club in 2009.

BRAZILIAN NATIONAL TEAM

Jefferson will enter the World Cup having not played a competitive match for Brazil. He made his debut with the national team in 2011.

CLUB CAREER

After starting his career with Cruzeiro, Jefferson moved to Turkey to play for Trabzonspor and Konyaspor. He has won seven trophies since returning to Brazil.
