Jason Hernandez has played for four MLS Clubs and logged almost 20,000 minutes across 244 regular season appearances in an 11 year MLS career. He started 26 games for NYCFC in their inaugural campaign and has played all across backlines in his MLS career. His versatility and experience will be an asset to the club as they continue to build a foundation for long term success. Hernandez played a key role in San Jose's 2012 supporters shield triumph. 

INTERNATIONAL:  Hernandez was called up to USMNT January Camp in 2009.

COLLEGE: Hernandez was the Seton Hall University Team Captain in 2004. He was named to All-Big East Second Team in 2004. His honors included being named to the NSCAA/adidas Mid-Atlantic Region All-Region team and  All-America Third Team as a junior.
