Career Summary

Option declined following 2018 season.

2016 proved to be a breakout year for the box-to-box midfielder, appearing in 21 games and making 14 starts. The 27-year-old bested those numbers in 2017, starting a career high 19 games. With a deeper midfield this year though, Jeffrey will have to fight to get as many minutes in 2018.

INTERNATIONAL: Played for the US at the U-17, U-20 and U-23 levels.

OUTSIDE MLS: Signed with Club Brugge in Belgium in 2008 before leaving the club for Mainz in Germany. He spent three seasons with the club, making 87 appearances with the reserve squad.
