What Scouts Say: "Top GK in last few years, commanding, reads the game well ... Not sure he's going to be high level pro goalkeeper  .... Not goign to wow you ahtleitically. Solid, competent, communicates well, good shot-stopper when within athletic range ... Positionally he's quite good ... Soffner has bigger upseide long-term because of size and erange in terms of disatnce he can command in box ... Really professioanl midned,. consistent ... got good size ... Not a giant but good size and he does everything well ... Kicking game is good ... Don't know if he's top teir MLS goalkeeper. Maybe it's the lack of pure exposveiness ... Very coordinated ... good sense for hte game ... He coudl stick somehwere ... He's got a great pedigrtee and not he's onto the next challenge ... He trained witha  lot of foreignt teams: Brad Friedel at Tototenham ... recenlty been at Coventry ...was at West Ham ... good exposure ... Only doubt or question mark is that he's going to count intinially as foreign player otherwise one of toppics in draft."
