A key cog on the Timbers’ U23 and then USL side for years, Gleeson made his MLS Cup Playoffs debut in 2015 and registered a key shutout against Vancouver in the first leg of the Western Conference Semifinals. His prototypical size and plus organizational ability make him an ideal fit for the Timbers’ system either off the bench or in spot duty.

INTERNATIONAL: Gleeson’s been involved in the New Zealand setup for years, and he got his debut cap in 2011. Since then Gleeson’s been called up sporadically for camps and friendlies.
