2009-2010: Played one game with SC Bastia in France’s Ligue 2.

2008-2009: Played 26 games with SC Bastia, recording three goals and one assist for five points.

2007-2008: Began the season with the Olympique de Marseille before being transferred to SC Bastia, in Ligue 2, in Jan. 2008, where he registered one goal in 12 games with the team… Scored his first goal in the pro ranks on February 22, 2008, on week 25 of the L2 season, against Libourne-Saint-Seurin… Also played in one Coupe de Ligue game.

2006-2007: Was part of French first division club l’Olympique de Marseille, joining the team in July 2006, but only played one cup game, at Montpellier… Mostly played with the OM’s reserve team.


Previously played from 2003 to 2006 in the CFA, Frances’ fourth division, with his hometown club Olympique Noisy-le-Sec Banlieue 93… Was recruited by that club in 1995 at 11 years old… Played well in a Coupe de France game against Auxerre… The Glasgow Rangers, Le Mans, Rennes and Marseille all subsequently showed interest in him.
