Shipp set the league on fire in the early part of his 2014 rookie campaign, and ended up as a finalist for the rookie of the year award. He led the Fire in assists in 2015, and was voted in at number six on the MLS 24 under 24 list. Despite these successes, Chicago felt he was surplus to requirements, and Shipp will certainly have a point to prove in 2016 as he settles in his new city.
