The keeper has maintained a level of excellence on par with some of the world's best, and stood out notably in the 2014 World Cup. 

MEXICAN NATIONAL TEAM

Ochoa has registered over 50 caps since being called up to the national team in 2005. Even though he was part of Mexico's squads for the 2006 and 2010 World Cups,he did not make any appearances.

CLUB CAREER

In 7 years with Club América, Ochoa won one title and made over 200 appearances. In the summer of 2011 he transferred to French side Ajaccio and after several seasons as their number 1, he transferred to Malaga in Spain.
