After playing for Burnley, Aston Villa, and Sheffield United, Cahill was signed by the Bolton Wanderers in 2007. There he blossomed into a top centerback. In 2012 he was acquired by Chelsea and he started the 2012 Champions League Final with the club, a game they won.
