Professional Career

2021 Real Salt Lake: Playing in the center of midfield, Luiz featured in 25 matches for RSL, 19 of which were starts. Luiz registered one assist in 2021.

2020 Real Salt Lake: Luiz played 919 minutes across 14 appearances for RSL in 2020, including 11 starts.

2019 Real Salt Lake: In his first season with the club the Brazilian made 29 appearances, starting in 26 of them. Luiz recorded two assists in 2,279 minutes and made his mark in the defensive midfield for RSL. Luiz was voted RSL’s Most Valuable Player in 2019.

2018 S.P.A.L. (Italy): Luiz’s successful season with Partizan led to the move to S.P.A.L. in Italy, where he helped the club avoid relegation in the 2017-2018 season. Throughout his professional career before joining RSL, Luiz scored a total of seven goals in 155 league matches and ten goals in 246 matches across all competitions.
