2013: Arnaud played in 24 games (21 starts) with the Montreal Impact in their second season in Major League Soccer. He played 1,776 minutes, bringing his career total to 23,930, which is currently 9th on the All-time active player list. The captain finished the season with one goal and five assists with his lone strike as the game-winner against the Seattle Sounders in the first game of the season.

2012: Arnaud became the first ever Montreal Impact team captain in Major League Soccer on 3/6. He set personal best with 33 games played and 31 starts. He scored the club’s first ever goal in MLS on 3/17 against CHI. He played the second highest total of minutes in his career with 2,765 minutes during the season and recorded four goals and three assists. He surpassed 20,000 career minutes on 4/18. Arnaud was selected to the MLSSoccer.com Team of the Week for week 26. Arnaud is the fifth players in MLS history to surpass 600 career fouls suffered. He started both games in the Amway Canadian Championship and one MLS Reserve League game. During a post-season tour in Italy, Arnaud played in international matches against Bologna FC and ACF Fiorentina.

2011: While with Sporting Kansas City, Arnaud played 22 games and started 16. He recorded two assists and helped the club to a first place finish in the Eastern Conference during the regular season. He also played in three playoff games with Sporting. On November 28, Arnaud was acquired by the Montreal Impact from Kansas City. Arnaud left Kansas City in first place all-time with 240 games played, second place all-time with 43 goals, third in assists with 35, starts with 213, and 19,390 minutes played.

2010: Arnaud was named Kansas City captain prior to the start of the season. He played and started 27 games, tallied six goals and three assists, and surpassed 200 career games with the club. He scored in the 11th minute of a friendly against English Premier League giants Manchester United in 2-1 victory.

2009: He appeared and started in 25 games with Kansas City. Arnaud missed five games while on duty with the U.S. National Team at the 2009 CONCACAF Gold Cup. He was named an MLS All-Star for the first time and played 27 minutes of the All-Star game against English Club Everton FC. Arnaud also scored an MLS Goal of the Week honor for his goal against the New England Revolution on 6/13. He also played three games in the SuperLiga Championships.

2008: Arnaud was awarded the Team Heart Award, given to the most dedicated player, for the second consecutive season with Kansas City. He also won the team’s Golden Boot award with seven goals and three assists. Three of those goals were game winners. Arnaud scored the lone goal in the 3-1 aggregate loss to the Columbus Crew in the Eastern Conference Semifinals.

2007: Kansas City gave Arnaud the first-ever Team Heart Award for his dedicated performance with the club. He had a career-high nine assists and four goals in 28 games. He finished tied for fifth in the league for most assists. Arnaud also scored the game-winning goal in the Western Conference Semifinals Series on a free kick from 25 yards out.

2006: Arnaud finished with four goals and four assists in a career-high and team-high 32 games played with Kansas City.

2005: He helped pace Kansas City’s attack with five goals and four assists in 31 games.

2004: Arnaud led Kansas City to the MLS Cup Final with a career-high nine regular-season goals and eight assists. He scored a team-high two postseason goals during the Western Conference Semifinal win over LA and added one assist. He also helped the club win the 2004 Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup.

2003: In his second season, Arnaud scored three goals in 18 games. He scored a goal in his first career start, scoring in the 11th minute against the MetroStars. He also played in all three postseason games.

2002: Selected by the Kansas City Wizards in the fifth round, 50th overall, of the 2002 MLS SuperDraft. He played in three games as a rookie.


Arnaud played in seven games with the U.S. National Team. He earned his first career appearance on September 9, 2007 against Brazil. He made his second appearance in a 2008 World Cup Qualifier against Guatemala. Arnaud plated a large role in the United States’ 2009 CONCACAF Gold Cup campaign, where he scored his first international goal against Hati in the group stage. He started all three of the team’s knockout round games.
