David Viana

Signed by RSL late last season, Viana will be looking to put his tremendous skill on display with the Claret-and-Cobalt first-team in 2013.

Blessed with a pair of incredibly quick feet, Viana is still learning the finer points of RSL Head Coach Jason Kreis’s system and might need a bit more seasoning before he’s able to make a big-time impact for the Utah side. Look for him to contribute for the RSL Reserves and come into games as a late attacking sub.

2011-12 – Atletico Madrid (Spanish 1^st Division): Transferred to Atletico Madrid from French club RC Strasbourg after Strasbourg was relegated from Ligue 1 following the 2010-11 season … Impressed with Atletico’s third-team while in the Spanish capital, getting regular call-ups to train with the first-team and earning a contract offer from the Spanish giants at the conclusion of the 2010-11 season
