2008: Started 28 games, matching his MLS career-high set in 2006…Posted career-bests in minutes played (2,520) and shutouts (seven)…The seven clean sheets were the most by a Dallas goalkeeper since Matt Jordan totaled nine in 2001...Reached 18 shutouts in his career, moving to second behind Jordan on the club’s all-time list…Finished the season with a 1.32 goals against average, helping lead the team to the fourth-best goal differential (+4) in Major League Soccer…Made a season-high seven saves in season-opening 1-1 tie with Chivas USA…Missed two games (6/1, 6/6) due to a right hip injury.

2007: Started 18 regular season games, posting five shutouts…Made his 2007 debut, in 2-1 win at KC on 5/12, registering a team season-high 9 saves…Won three US Open Cup matches, earning FCD a trip to the Final vs. NE…Recorded 1-0 shutout win over Houston in the first leg of the MLS Cup Playoffs Western Conference Semifinals…Missed 7/24 SuperLiga match with a left MCL sprain but returned on 7/28 vs. Pachuca and 7/31 vs. LA Galaxy…Missed 8/4, 8/7, 8/11, 8/19 games due to the same MCL injury…Was suspended for the first 6 games of the 2007 season resulting from an altercation in the final playoff game of 2006.

2006: Started the first 28 games of the year in goal, compiling a 14-10-4 record with five clean sheets…his 14 wins were second in the league…had a career-best 289 minute scoreless streak snapped in the 81st minute of the 1-1 draw @ CHV on 9/9…his win on 7/15 @ CHI was the 10th of his career making him the fourth goalkeeper to win 10 or more games for the club...tallied his first career assist on Dominic Oduro’s goal in the 2nd minute of the 2-1 win vs. NY on 7/15…saved Tigres’ sixth penalty kick and then converted the game-winner that gave FCD the Rio Grande Plate in Monterrey, MEX on on 7/26…also saved the fourth penalty kick against Charleston on 8/2, and Dallas again won the 4th Round Open Cup game on the next kick…His 3-0-3 record in his first six games with the club set a new team record for the longest undefeated streak starting a Dallas career…suffered a calf injury on 9/26 @ RSL, forcing him to miss the final four games of the regular season…was involved in a post-game altercation in playoff loss to Colorado on 10/28 which led to being suspended for the first six games in the 2007 season.

2005: Made his MLS debut and recorded his first MLS shutout in 0-0 tie vs. Colorado on 10/8 at Pizza Hut Park…Joined FC Dallas after opening the Apertura 2006 season playing the first three games with Argentine-side Arsenal Sarandí FC…started the year with his second stint at Newell’s Old Boys.

2003-2004: was loaned to Jaguares Chiapas in Mexico for six months… Least scored upon goalkeeper in league, averaging less than 1 goal per game…Only team member to be named to All-Star game.

2003: moved back to Argentina, signing with Newell’s Old Boys for one season.

2002-2003: Signed with Deportivo Cali in Colombia and played in 55 games…Scored a penalty goal against rival America de Cali …Advanced to the quarterfinals of the Copa Libertadores against Cruz Azul of Mexico, tying each leg 0-0 before falling at home 3-2 in penalty kicks…Dario was in goal when Cali eliminated River Plate in the previous round…Was voted Goalkeeper of the Year in Colombia’s premiere league…Least scored upon goalkeeper in 2003 Copa Libertadores, allowing just two goals in ten matches… was selected as the Foreign Player of the Year in Colombia’s premiere league.

2001-2002: Was loaned to Independiente also of the Argentine First Division where he played in both the Apertura and Clausara championships…Played in the 2001 Copa Mercosur.

2000-2001: Was purchased by Argentine giant River Plate, playing in both the Apertura and Clausara championships…Played in the 2000 Copa Mercosur and the 2000 Copa Libertadores with River… River was two-time runner-up Argentina’s Primera League during Sala’s stay.

1999-2000: Was then transferred to Los Andes and helped them get promoted to the Argentine first division for the first time in 33 years, playing 42 games, surrendering 26 goals… Voted by fans as goalkeeper on the club’s All-Century Team…selected as the team and League Most Valuable Player…Set team record of 689 minutes without surrendering a goal and scored three goals off penalty kicks, including one in the second-leg of the playoff win which won the game and advanced to the team to final, and a spot in the first division.

1996-1999: From 1996-97, played in the second division, but moved up to the top flight in the fall of 1997…Played with Belgrano in the Argentine First Division…was the starting goalkeeper on team that ascended from B-League to Primera Division.

1995-1996: Played one season with Racing in Argentina.

1995: Started career with San Lorenzo (Argentina) as a backup for six months and later returned to Talleres of Cordoba to train.
