HOW ACQUIRED: Traded from D.C. United on February 9, 2016.
2013: While representing the Black-and-Red, the striker made 14 regular season appearances (8 starts), tallied twice and assisted once. Doyle's first goal came against the Montreal Impact on 8/3, finishing a James Riley crosson a one-touch finish. His tally put D.C. United up 2-1, and his assist on Jared Jeffrey's goal secured the 3-1 win at RFK. His second goal came against the Impact as well, tying the match on 8/17 at 1-1, but Montreal found the game-winner minutes later. Doyle also made two appearances in United’s run to Open Cup glory, coming on as a substitute in both the semi final and final matches.
OTHER PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
2012: Appendicitis limited the young forward to only one start and one subtitute appearance, before going on loan in MLS.
2011: Following a solid rookie campaign, Doyle suffered both ankle and hamstring injuries, limiting him to one fixture that year.
2010: After one semester at Creighton University, Doyle signed his first professional contract with Derby County (English Championship) after a trial period with the club in 2010. Doyle featured for the First Team 14 times before the end of the year.
