Cropper is a promising young goalkeeper who comes to the Revolution after several years abroad. He has been a regular member of US youth national teams.
INTERNATIONAL: Cropper has earned 28 caps representing the United States at the youth level. He has earned 21 caps with the U-20s and made seven appearances with the U-23s, most recently appearing for the U.S. in the first leg of the 2016 Olympic qualifying playoff against Colombia on March 25, 2016. Cropper has also played for the U.S. in the 2011 and 2013 CONCACAF U-20 Championships, the 2013 FIFA U-20 World Cup, and the 2015 Toulon Tournament. At the senior level, Cropper is the youngest of seven active MLS goalkeepers to have spent time in US national team camps.
OUTSIDE MLS: Has spent the last four years in England at both the Premier League and English Football League Championship levels. He joins New England following one season with MK Dons, where he made nine appearances and logged 685 minutes. Prior to joining MK Dons, Cropper spent three seasons with Southampton F.C. of the Premier League. He began his time in England in the academy system of Championship side Ipswich Town, where he played from 2010-12.
