Tiote started all three games for Ivory Coast at the 2010 World Cup. He also made six appearances during this cycle of World Cup qualifying.

CLUB CAREER

Tiote started his professional career with Anderlecht but made just four appearances with the club over three seasons before moving on to Twente. He joined Newcastle United in 2010 and has made at least 24 appearances in the last four seasons.
