The eight year veteran is Sporting's longest tenured player. He suffered a severe achilles injury early in the 2014 season and made his first MLS start since the injury on June 27, 2015. Myers went the distance and got an assist in the 2015 US Open Cup Final victory. He also converted a penalty kick in Sporting's 2013 MLS Cup triumph. Sporting fans are surely looking forward to having Myers back at the peak of his powers in 2016.
Has been a member of the U-18 and U-20 National Teams and was called into the U-23 camp. Played in the 2006 Milk Cup in Ireland and was a U.S. starter in the 2007 Pan American games. Called into the 2014 USMNT January camp and trained for three weeks with the squad including a two-week stint in Brazil.
Played two seasons at UCLA, named first-team All-Pac 10 in 2007. Had 4 goals and 4 assists in 42 career games at UCLA.
