Career Summary

A local product, Brendan King joined the Fire after spending the 2012 season gaining valuable experience abroad. Selected in the second round (27th overall) of the 2012 MLS SuperDraft by the Portland Timbers, King instead headed to Europe where he spent his first season as a professional. A Fire PDL and Super-20 product, King is a versatile midfielder who will strengthen the squad heading in to the 2013 season.

2012: Selected in the second round (27th overall) of the 2012 MLS SuperDraft by the Portland Timbers but elected to go abroad and joined League of Ireland Premier Division side Bray Wanderers AFC where he made one appearances…Transferred to Norwegian Division One side Alta IF where he appeared in seven matches.
