2013 (MLS Pool Goalkeeper): Stuver was drafted in the Second Round, 32nd overall, by the Montreal Impact in the 2013 MLS SuperDraft. He spent 2013 as an MLS pool goalkeeper and made appearances in gameday rosters for the Crew, New England Revolution, Real Salt Lake and Chivas USA.
Stuver compiled a 33-27-7 record in four seasons collegiately at Cleveland State University, including a senior season in which he started all 20 of his team’s matches, posting a 11-6-3 record with a 0.86 goals against average. As a junior and a senior, he earned Second Team All-Horizon League honors after being tabbed Horizon League Goalkeeper of Year and All-Horizon League First Team honors as a sophomore. He posted a team-best 58 saves in his freshmen season in just 10 starts, becoming the number one goalkeeper for the Vikings by the end of his first campaign.
Stuver was named to the 2008 Plain Dealer All-Star Team and earned All-Ohio honors after his senior season at Twinsburg High School playing for Mike Lally, finishing his prep career with 24 shutouts in goal and 12 goals and three assists as a midfielder. Stuver was also an Academic All-American during high school.
Stuver was selected fourth overall by the Crew in the 2013 MLS Waiver Draft.
Son of Ronald and LeAnne, Stuver has an older brother named Ryan. Stuver was a Biology major at Cleveland State.
