Andrew Jacobson started 33 games for NYCFC in their 2015 inaugural season, offering a steady presence to an ever-evolving expansion side, before being shipped to Vancouver in early 2016 where he made 26 appearances, starting 18 and scoring two goals in 1751 minutes. He has made over 199 career MLS appearances, and logged over 14,000 career minutes. Jacobson has played numerous positions throughout his MLS career, which has taken him from D.C. United to the Philadelphia Union to FC Dallas, NYCFC and now Vancouver.

OUTSIDE MLS: Before playing a minute in MLS, Jacobson trialed and signed for FC Lorient, but was limited by a foot injury. After being traded to NYCFC, he was loaned to Stabæk Fotball in the Norwegian Tippeligaen. Scored one goal in 12 appearances, while logging 1,080 minutes on the field.

INTERNATIONAL: Jacobson represented the USA at the 2008 Futsal World Cup.

COLLEGE: Was a NSCAA First Team All-American, a member of the All-Far West First Team and PAC-10 Player of the Year as a senior at University of California. Had 11 goals and 13 assists in 83 appearances for the Bears.
