Powell is a rising player for Jamaica and recently featured for the Reggae Boyz in their last three 2014 FIFA World Cup Qualifiers June 4-11 against Mexico, United States and Honduras. He made his senior international debut Dec. 10, 2012, during the 2012 Caribbean Cup and has five caps. Powell helped the Jamaica U-17 National Team qualify for the 2011 FIFA U-17 World Cup and played in two of the team’s three group matches in the tournament. He recently captained the Jamaica U-20 National Team to a quarterfinal finish in the 2013 CONCACAF U-20 Championships in February.

Made his MLS debut Aug. 3, starting and playing 63 minutes of a 1-1 draw against Vancouver Whitecaps FC ... Became the youngest player in Timbers MLS history to start and play in a match at 19 years, 16 days ... Made his first-team debut, starting and playing all 90 minutes of a 1-0 win over EPL side Norwich City FC in a friendly July 24 at JELD-WEN Field ...
