2007: Selected by Toronto FC in the MLS Expansion Draft on November 17, 2006, but was traded to FC Dallas later that day in exchange for Ronnie O’Brien … Had knee surgery on 2/20 to repair Osteochronditis Dessicans, a bruise to the inside of the femur that was caused as a result of repetitive smaller injuries … Made his first appearance for Dallas when he started vs. DC on 7/14 … Left game with hamstring strain on 8/11 … Started at center back vs. CHI on 9/20 but moved to defensive midfield for the second half after an injury to Pablo Ricchetti … Made same move at LA on 9/23 … Started the final three regular season games in the middle of the field … Playoffs: Faced Dynamo in 2007 Western Conference semifinals, starting both games … Set up only goal in 1-0 FCD win in first leg on 10/27 with a long throw-in … Played 80 minutes in second leg, a 4-1 Houston win in extra time … Open Cup: Appeared in three games, including two starts, as Dallas reached the final before losing to the New England Revolution … SuperLiga: Started all three games as Dallas was eliminated in the group stage.
