Portland Timbers sign T2 trio to first-team deals, bring back Jack Barmby

The Portland Timbers just got a little younger. The Timbers announced on Thursday morning that they have signed winger Victor Arboleda, defender Rennico Clarke, and goalkeeper Kendall McIntosh to first-team contracts. Arboleda, 20, Clarke, 21, and McIntosh, 22, join the club after playing for its USL side, Timbers 2, last season.

Arboleda is a young winger who joined the Timbers after a successful season with Timbers 2 in USL. He earned just 55 minutes in 2017 and will be looking to make a larger impact in 2018.

OUTSIDE MLS: Joining T2 from Colombia Primera Division side Deportivo Cali in March 2016, the 20-year-old Arboleda recorded four goals and two assists in 25 games played (20 starts) with T2 in 2016, tallying the third-most points (10) on the team. Prior to signing with T2, Arboleda scored two goals in eight appearances with Deportivo Cali.

INTERNATIONAL: Earned caps at the U-15 and U-17 levels for the Colombian National Team.
