Career Summary

Out of contract following 2016 season.

Stewart enters his fourth MLS season hoping to make his 60th career MLS start. Although he suffered a season ending injury in 2015, he still logged over 1,000 MLS minutes in the campaign. The veteran defender will be needed by coach Kinnear throughout the season to help the Quakes return to the playoffs in 2016.

OUTSIDE MLS: Stewart racked up over 300 appearances as a pro in Europe, including over 100 for Leicester City. Other notable clubs include Derby County, Watford and Sheffield United. He has English Premier League experience. 

INTERNATIONAL: Stewart made four appearances for the U-18 England National Team in 2001. He also made a single appearance for the U-21 England National Team in 2003.
