HOW ACQUIRED: Acquired with the sixth pick in the Chivas USA Dispersal Draft on November 19, 2014.
Toia became the first ever Homegrown player to be signed to a professional contract by Real Salt Lake, on March 15, 2011. He then Joined Chivas USA in 2014, and finished third overall in minutes played for Chivas USA with 2,240, playing a total of 27 games, including 24 starts. Toia found a home in Montreal, settling in for the CONCACAF Champions League final run, where he recorded an assist, and leading the Impact with 31 regular season appearances and 2,699 minutes played in league action. He was also named to two different MLS teams of the week in the 2015 season.
INTERNATIONAL: Toia represented the U.S. with the U-18 and U-20 teams.
