2013 (Crew): Viana made 20 starts – seven in the central midfield and 13 at leftback – in his first season with the Black & Gold. He made his MLS debut in the start at Chivas USA (March 2) and made his first start at leftback in the match against D.C. (April 27) but left in the 20th-minute with a right hamstring strain. He missed the next seven matches from May 4 through June 15. Viana made a substitute appearance in the international friendly against Wigan Athletic (July 13) and returned to League action in the starting lineup at leftback at Toronto (July 27), three months to the day after suffering his injury. He made six straight starts from July 27 to August 31 and returned to the starting lineup at leftback at Montreal (September 14), starting the final six matches of the season at leftback. In MLS Reserve League action, he made three appearances -- including two starts -- at leftback and one in the central midfield.

2012-13 (Bella Vista): In his return to Bella Vista from Levadiakos, Viana started all 15 matches he appeared in and tallied two goals. His final match for Bella Vista came on December 9 in a 1-0 loss to Central Español.

2011-12 (Bella Vista, Levadiakos): Viana spent time between Bella Vista in Uruguay and Greek Super League side Levadiakos, making 15 League appearances for the two sides and scoring one goal. The Uruguayan played all 180 minutes in Bella Vista's First Round series with Universidad Cátolica in the Copa Sudamericana. Viana played all 120 minutes in Lavadiakos' 1-1 penalty kick loss to Thrasyvoulos in Greek Cup play.

2010-11 (Bella Vista): The Uruguayan made 22 League appearances, 21 of which were starts, for Bella Vista in 2010-11 to score two goals as a mainstay in the club's starting lineup.

2009-10 (Gallipoli): Viana spent the season with Italian Serie B side Gallipoli, appearing in 28 games to register 1746 minutes in League play. The Uruguayan made 19 starts during his lone season in Italy.

2008-09 (Bella Vista, CFR Cluj): Viana made 12 appearances and scored 1 goal between Bella Vista and Romanian side CFR Cluj, With Cluj, Viana helped the Transylvania side to the Romanian League Cup.

2001-09 (Bella Vista, Nacional Montevideo, Atletico Mineiro): The Uruguayan spent time between Bella Vista, Nacional Montevideo and Brazilian side Atletico Mineiro, making 102 appearances for the three clubs and scoring seven goals in that time.
