Matchday 3 of the 2014 Major League Soccer season is done and dusted, and it came bearing gifts: two backflip goal celebrations in one weekend — a backflip battle.
This week's contestants? Sporting Kansas City forward Dom Dwyer and Seattle Sounders forward Obafemi Martins.
Now, Martins has the backflip longevity advantage over Dwyer — he used to celebrate goals with as many as five in a row during his early days at Inter Milan (2001-2006) — but we're pretty sure the young Englishman got significantly more air on his dismount this weekend.
Just check out this photo posted by Dwyer on Instagram after the game on Saturday.
Who displayed more style, hangtime and technique in getting up and back down after bagging goals this weekend? We'll let you be the judge. Just let us know in the comments section below.
