MLS Heineken® Rivalry Week resumes Thursday night, as Sporting Kansas City looks to continue their home dominance of Minnesota United when the Western Conference foes square off at Children's Mercy Park.

Sporting Kansas City (8-11-7) rebounded from consecutive defeats to knock off the San Jose Earthquakes, 2-1, at home Saturday night to move to within six points of the playoff line in the West. Sporting went into halftime with a 1-0 deficit after Chris Wondolowski's 25th-minute goal. But Benny Feilhaber leveled in the 50th minute with a left-footed strike and Graham Smith scored the decisive tally in the 76th minute, his first career MLS goal.

Second in the West, Minnesota United (12-8-6) rallied to earn a 1-1 draw against Orlando City SC at Aillianz Field last Saturday night. Nani put the Lions in front with a 70th-minute penalty kick, but Abu Danladi scored the stoppage-time equalizer as the Loons secured at least a point for the ninth time in the last 10 games.
